Starring in 'BUKU HARIAN SEORANG ISTRI', Rangga Azof Affirms Fajar is Different from Samudra

As you know, Azof previously starred in the soap opera SAMUDRA CINTA as Samudra. He emphasizes how Fajar is different from Samudra. He revealed this in an interview with KapanLagi.com recently.

"Very different. Even though in terms of the antagonist side, it exists compared to SAMUDRA CINTA. Samudra is very loving towards his wife, never gets angry at his wife, but here he is tougher," he explained.

1. Feeling Like a Failure

Nevertheless, Azof sees that the audience still often judges him for acting as Samudra. Azof admits feeling like a failure.

"But sometimes we see it from the audience's perspective, 'wow, this is just like SAMUDRA CINTA,' but we feel like we failed in terms of delivery," Azof continued.

Moreover, in BUKU HARIAN SEORANG ISTRI, he is once again paired with Haico Van der Veken. That becomes a challenge for Azof.

"The challenge is how we differentiate between Samudra-Cinta and Fajar-Cornelia, we have to find a way to distinguish them. That's the challenge," he concluded.
