Starring in 'LITTLE MOM', Natasha Wilona Becomes a 16-Year-Old Teenager Who is Pregnant Out of Wedlock

Kapanlagi.com - For the first time, Natasha Wilona is involved in a web series titled LITTLE MOM. She plays the character named Naura, a 16-year-old high school girl who experiences pregnancy outside of marriage.

Playing the character of Naura is not an easy task for Wilona. She even doubted whether she was still suitable to play a schoolgirl.

"Honestly, when I first got this role, I was nervous whether I was still suitable to play a high school student. It was quite difficult because I had to go back to my 16-year-old self," said Wilona when met in the Wahid Hasyim area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (6/9/2021).

"During the reading process, oh my God, it was really difficult. Because the dialogue I performed was not good according to the acting coach, so I had to do it again. The challenge was that the way of speaking was not like my current age, the age of people my age in general. So being a teenager is like having a different pronunciation of dialogue," said the 22-year-old girl.

1. Education on Pregnancy Outside of Marriage

Before taking on a role in LITTLE MOM, Natasha Wilona admitted that she had received three offers for web series with different stories and characters. However, after seeing the theme of pregnancy outside of marriage, she decided to join this series by Guntur Soeharjanto.

"When I was challenged to play a 16-year-old, and having problems like this, I searched again. Based on WHO data, in recent years there have been many underage pregnancies outside of marriage, but they are not widely exposed and no one knows their life stories. That's why I'm interested. If it's just a typical love drama, I've done that a lot, especially in soap operas where the story revolves around the same things," said the former girlfriend of Verrel Bramasta.

Involved in this web series, Wilona also wants to educate the audience and her fans. So that they don't experience what happened to Naura.

"Because (pregnancy outside of marriage) is not widely exposed, it seems like it doesn't exist, very few, because people say it's a moral defect. But in reality, there are many. That's where I thought if there are young people watching this, they can get educated, those who are currently infatuated at an extreme level can take the lessons from it, or those who may be in the same situation as Naura can find a way out," Wilona concluded.
