Starring in the series 'TERSANJUNG', Jessica Mila has difficulty portraying the legendary character Indah

Kapanlagi.com - MVP Entertainment collaborated with WeTV to remake the popular soap opera TERSANJUNG which was popular from 1998 to 2005. Spanning sixteen episodes, this series features Jessica Mila as the actress who portrays the character Indah.

The character Indah is so legendary and attached to the hearts of Indonesian soap opera fans in the early 2000s. Some of the top actresses in the country who have portrayed the character Indah include Jihan Fahira, Lulu Tobing, Ayu Azhari, and Cut Tari.

Mila admits that playing the character entrusted to her is not easy. There are many life problems that happen, so it takes concentration to capture the appropriate emotions.

"I didn't expect that it would be difficult to portray Indah because in her life, she faced many consecutive challenges. Her challenges were very heavy. There are many emotions that I have never experienced before," said Mila when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Friday (3/12/2021).

1. Unable to Laugh

In order to experience a series of emotions she had never felt before, Jessica Mila couldn't laugh when she came home. She kept those emotions during the two-month-long shooting process.

"After shooting, I couldn't even joke around or laugh. Because I really wanted to focus on experiencing the emotions," said the woman born 29 years ago.

2. Different from Soap Operas

Raam Punjabi, as the producer, said that the series TERSANJUNG will be better than the soap opera version. The development of technology has improved the story, acting, and production process.

"In the past, there was no advanced technology, but now it's very advanced. So you can see that the images and acting are very different compared to the 90s. I believe this is the result of technology and the intelligence of young people nowadays," Raam said on the same occasion.

3. The Weight of Beautiful Life

The series TERSANJUNG will start airing on December 8, 2021 on the WeTV streaming service. Starring Jessica Mila, Rezky Aditya, Rayn Wijaya, and Clairine Clay.

Just like the soap opera, this series focuses on the character Indah who faces the weight of life after the death of both her parents. She is also trapped in a love triangle with Bobby, her first love, and Rama, the man she needs.
