Starting from NFT, Brandon Salim Becomes Friends with David Beckham's Son

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Brandon Salim formed a friendship with the child of world celebrities David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, namely Brooklyn Beckham. The actor of the film YOWIS BEN revealed that their introduction started from NFT (Non-Fungible Token).

At that time, Brooklyn wanted to learn more about NFT, which was owned by Brandon Salim. Brooklyn contacted Brandon through direct messages on Instagram, and that's where their friendship began to develop.

"Oh yeah, at that time NFT was booming worldwide and our NFT was called Karafuru. So, many public figures actually DM-ed me. Brooklyn DM-ed me, 'Hey, I want it', and I said 'okay, but you have to post it on Instagram'", said Brandon Salim when met in Senopati area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (31/10).

"On the launch day, he was confused, 'how does this work, what should I do?', 'well, you have to put in money to be able to buy the NFT', 'how do I do that?' He's a nice and funny person, just a little bit tech-challenged. I saw that his laptop was like brand new, no applications, and the wallpaper was still basic. So I said 'I'll just send it to you for free, so you won't be confused'", he added.

During their conversation, Brandon Salim, who also enjoys tattoos, remembered that Brooklyn had once gotten a tattoo from a famous tattoo artist. When Brandon planned to go to America, he asked for Brooklyn's help to get a chance to get a tattoo from that tattoo artist.

"After that, we often talked and I knew he had gotten a tattoo from a really skilled tattoo artist in America. I told him to book me an appointment at that tattoo place. And after that, I DM-ed the tattoo artist, and he said, 'Yeah, Brooklyn DM-ed me, just come and you'll get a discount,'" he said.

Turns out, this friendship led Brandon Salim to get a tattoo at the same place where several world-famous artists, including David Beckham and Brooklyn Beckham, have gotten their tattoos.

"Finally, I got a tattoo there, his name is Mr. Kim, he's Korean. David Beckham and Brooklyn also got tattoos there," he said.

Although their friendship is through Instagram direct messages and they share about their tattoo experiences, Brandon Salim and Brooklyn Beckham have never met in person.

"We haven't had the chance because he's studying in New York, so we haven't had the chance to meet," he concluded.
