Dr. Lois claimed that a Covid-19 patient with comorbidities would receive up to six types of drugs. This is what triggered drug interactions and caused the patient to pass away.
Apparently, his statement had long-lasting consequences. As a result of his statement, the doctor, who was known to be a graduate of the Indonesian Christian University, had to deal with the police.
The police themselves arrested Dr. Louis Owien in the Rasuna Said area of South Jakarta on Sunday, July 11, 2021. He was arrested for spreading fake news or hoaxes.
After being taken and interrogated, Dr. Lois was eventually released. He was released after promising not to repeat his actions.
