Stolen Bike, Anggy Umbara Reveals Loss of Hundreds of Million Rupiah

“I have reported it to the police and they have investigated the crime scene. It seems like the thief knew where they were located, knew which brand to take. There are several bikes, but he took them quickly,” said Anggy Umbara when contacted on Sunday (12/4)

1. Assisted by Many Bicycle Communities

Although he has reported to the police, until now his bike has not been found. But Anggy Umbara is grateful because after announcing the loss of his bike on Instagram, many bicycle communities want to help.

“Not yet (found), because if we search for it, maybe there is already a syndicate involved, maybe if it is not found in stores, it has been spread to all bicycle communities. Even from outside Jakarta, there are communities on Facebook and so on,” he said.

2. Hundreds of Million Rupiah Loss

Anggy Umbara said that his two bikes, the Specialized Stump Jumper 2018 Mountain Bike and the FnHon Tornado Folding Bike, were purchased at a high price. He suffered a loss of around hundreds of million rupiah.

“Almost, almost a hundred million. The Specialized bike in the store costs around 70 million, and the folding bike that I assembled myself cost around 30 million,” said Anggy Umbara.

3. Tighten Security

After this incident, he will also be more cautious and tighten the security of his house. "Yes, just be more careful, not only one lock, but several locks connected to the wall, and also trying some ways like using an alarm, and the security will increase the height of the wall," he concluded.
