Stop Voice of Ramadan Contestants While Singing, Iis Dahlia Flooded with Criticisms

Kapanlagi.com - Iis Dahlia has recently been criticized by netizens for various actions or statements. Previously, the 48-year-old woman was often targeted because she sang the lyrics of the song Ramadan Tiba incorrectly.

This time, Iis once again caused a stir when she became a judge in one of the talent search events, Voice of Ramadan 2021. The reason is that the singer of the song Seroja suddenly stopped the performance of one of the participants named Rahmi while she was singing.

"Wait, wait, wait. Rahmi, what's wrong with you? Your voice is trembling. Is it because you want to be like Nissa Sabyan?" asked Iis as she walked onto the stage as reported by the officialgtvid YouTube channel, April 20, 2021.

Iis' action immediately caused confusion in the entire studio. Even Andhika Pratama, the host, asked for the reason why Satria Dewandono's wife stopped Rahmi's performance.

"Why did you stop her? Is it okay to stop in the middle of a performance?" asked Andhika.

"Her voice was trembling a lot, it was noticeable. Like she was feeling cold. So that she can be more relaxed," answered Iis.

2. Don't Be Like Nissa Sabyan!

Iis openly praised Rahmi's quality as a singer. However, she also gave a message for Rahmi not to imitate one of the previously popular religious singers.

"Her voice is great. Has a distinctive characteristic. But don't be too much like Nissa. Just be yourself. Relax," said Iis.

Interestingly, no judge commented on Iis Dahlia's statement. They chose to remain silent.

3. Flooded with Criticism

The comment section of the video post immediately became crowded. Most of the netizens criticized Iis' actions, which were considered inappropriate for a judge, namely abruptly stopping one of the contestants' performances.
