There are 10 comedians from various genres who will compete to not laugh at the jokes of their opponents. They include Cak Lontong, Andre Taulany, Denny Cagur, Rina Nose, Indra Jegel, Gilang Dirga, Ivan Gunawan, Asri Welas, Marshel Widianto, and Dicky Difie.
They were brought together in an unusual setting of a spaceship commanded by Pandji Pragiwaksono. Pandji explained that he was sent as the commander to find out who is the ruler of the Comedy Galaxy.
"As the commander, I am looking for who will become the ruler of the comedy galaxy. They don't know who their opponents are, they are all clueless," said Pandji Pragiwaksono during the round table of LOL Indonesia, Rizt Calton SCBD, South Jakarta, (2/7) Tuesday afternoon.
"So when they meet, it becomes a surprise, and they have an idea of who will be a tough opponent. I monitor who laughs, I stop them and give them a punishment," he continued.
At the same time, Ivan Gunawan, who also participated in this event, admitted to having fears. How could he not, the man who is familiarly called Igun admitted that among the other nine participants, he is the only one who is not a comedian.
"Among the nine comedians, I feel like I'm not a comedian, this program is the craziest in the world of TV," said Igun.
In addition, Igun also shared how his journey could be involved in LOL Indonesia. He told how he was blindfolded when picked up, not allowed to use the toilet freely, and forbidden to play with his cellphone.
"Starting from being picked up and taken to a hotel like being raided for drugs, not knowing where it is, tomorrow being picked up again, blindfolded and taken to a changing room where even to pee, it has to be done in a sterile way so as not to be seen, I'm really bothered by this program, I'm not even allowed to hold my phone," he explained.
"It's really complicated, especially for me who has been in the entertainment industry for decades, after shooting this for 3 days, I feel so relieved," he said.
