Kapanlagi.com - The sudden departure of Bambang Cahyo Gunawan, the father of Ivan Gunawan surprised many people. Several friends and colleagues of Igun admitted to being shocked when they received the news of the loss, Ruben Onsu and Nikita Mirzani were among them.
When found at the funeral home in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta on Sunday (12/7/2020), Ruben stated that he initially did not believe the news. He, who was out of town at the time, hurried back to Jakarta to visit the funeral home.
"Igun called me directly. So at first, I was also shocked because I'm close with his parents too, we often call each other. I was in Sukabumi earlier," said Ruben.

Nikita Mirzani, who was met with Ruben, revealed that Ivan appeared very strong. He didn't seem to cry and was quite calm when found at the funeral home.
"Kak Igun is really tough. He's very strong. I don't know, maybe he doesn't want to cry in front of his friends," said Niki.

Ruben added that Ivan also asked for prayers for his late father. He knew that Igun actually felt very sad. But according to him, Igun just didn't want to show his sadness in front of his friends.
"I know for sure he's sad, but as Niki said, he doesn't want to (be sad) in front of his friends. So he just tells those who are present, 'I'm okay, please pray for me,'" added Ruben.
