Sujiwo Tedjo's Story Positive for Covid and Sad to Miss Son's Wedding Ceremony, Turns Out to be Pranked

Kapanlagi.com - Sujiwo Tejo has just become a victim of his children's prank. This story began when the artist, who is familiarly called Mbah Tejo, was about to attend his son's wedding, Jagad Narendra, on July 11, 2021.

Having a wedding during a pandemic like this, of course, security and health must be taken into account. And as a form of maintaining security before the event takes place, everyone involved in Jagad Narendra's wedding had to undergo a PCR swab test. This is where Mbah Tejo's children's prank started.

The children, who were waiting for the test results at the hospital, suddenly sent the test results to Sujiwo Tejo via WhatsApp. The message contained a photo of the PCR test result letter stating that Sujiwo Tejo was positive for covid-19.

"I received this letter via WhatsApp in the car, from my children who were still waiting for the test results of the entire family at the hospital. I was on my way to my son's wedding ceremony, @jagadnar and Husnul," Sujiwo Tejo wrote on his Instagram recently.

1. Decide to Isolate

Finding out that the PCR test results did not meet expectations, Sujiwo Tejo remained calm and will contact several parties who will be involved in his son's wedding later. 

Not only that, he even decided not to attend Jagad Narendra's wedding because he had to undergo self-isolation at home. Even though at that time he was already at the wedding venue.

"I'm calm. Besides, a boy doesn't need a guardian. I can choose not to attend. And decide to self-isolate. I will also call Menkopolhukam @mohmahfudmd and Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, both of whom I ask to be witnesses to the wedding. I apologize for not being able to attend (Prokes Akad Nikah era PPKM Darurat allows only 30 people in the wedding venue, everyone must take an antigen test including the officiant/Quran reader, etc.)," said Sujiwo Tejo.

"I will also call @fariedwijdan from @penerbitimania whom I ask to be the MC. I apologize that I myself cannot attend. I will also call a few limited invitations," he continued.

2. Just a Prank

When he was about to turn his vehicle around and decide to go home, Sujwo Tejo received another call from his child who was in the hospital. 

Laughing, Sujiwo Tejo's successful children who had fooled their father said that it was just a prank. 

"Yes, alright. I decided to isolate. Just as the car was about to turn around, my children who were at the hospital called and laughed, saying it was just a prank. They edited it themselves as a joke. Heuheuheu.. So annoying... It happened just before the wedding ceremony on July 11th," he explained.
