Kapanlagi.com - It's only a matter of days until Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr after a month of fasting. Certainly, this year's victory celebration is still the same as before due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Everyone misses the atmosphere of Eid like in previous years before the pandemic, as felt by comedian Sule. When met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday night (5/4), he expressed this, especially since he and his family cannot return to their hometown.

1. Want to go to Bandung

"Definitely, I definitely miss the atmosphere of going home, but I still don't know whether we are allowed to go home or not. We can't go to Bandung, but maybe later when we can, we'll go to Bandung, we'll visit everyone," said Sule.

As for the Eid prayer, Sule still can't confirm whether it will be at home or at the mosque. As for the Eid outfit, the 44-year-old man said it's enough to just wear a regular koko shirt.

"We'll see later, if it's possible, we'll definitely go to the mosque. Just a koko shirt, like that. It's okay, right? Eid doesn't have to be about new clothes, it's about having a new character. What's important is that we become more mature and wise in the future," he said.

2. Remembering When Abah Was Still Here

In addition, Sule reminisced about the previous tradition of sungkeman (a Javanese tradition of showing respect) when his late father was still alive. When the pandemic subsides, Sule plans to hold an open house and invite all Indonesians to come.

"Just a regular sungkeman, when my father was still here, yes, it was done. But for sungkeman, it depends on our hearts. Even if we perform the ritual, if our hearts are not sincere, what's the point," he explained.

3. Want Open House

"Because of Corona, even though I don't have Corona, I really want to have an open house, want to invite friends (media) to the house, later when there is no Corona, I will have an open house, maybe I will ask all of Indonesia to come to the house," he concluded.

Such a big hope is certainly not only felt by Sule, maybe KLovers too, right? Even so, always remember #IngatPesanIbu. Wear a mask, wash hands regularly, limit mobility, avoid crowds, and keep a distance. Hopefully, KLovers always stay healthy!
