Sule's Struggle to Get His Late Wife Lina, His First Love, Not Approved by the Family - If Apples are Beaten by 6 People

When he became a guest star on the vlog owned by Anang Hermansyah's family, Sule was asked about his dating days with the late Lina. The top comedian and presenter admitted that Lina was his first love and girlfriend.

"Yes (first love). So I never dated, (Lina) was my first girlfriend and wife. Because back in high school, no one wanted to be with me. The journey was unique when I was with her," Sule reminisced.

1. Still Good with Lina's Family

Sule openly admitted that their relationship was not approved by Lina's family. But he finally gathered the courage to propose to Lina and received their blessing. Sule's efforts were not in vain. Not only did he marry Lina, but he still maintains good communication with her family until now.

"Of course, it has to be good. I love her daughter, so I have to love her family too. We still communicate. I funded all the tahlilan (Lina's funeral rituals), from the seventh day to the 40th. Maybe later on the 100th day. I might have more blessings, and her family may use it for daily needs," said Sule.

2. Helping Lina Break Free from Someone

When asked what he remembers most about Lina, Sule mentioned her struggle to find love. He helped Lina break free from someone and be in his arms.

"So she wanted to break free from someone, because she was bound by something, but in the end, I fought for her and she could be in my arms. That's what makes me remember her all the time. Why was she like that? Even though I fought for her tremendously," Sule reminisced.

3. Risking Life for Lina

Sule also remembers how difficult it was for him to visit the late Lina's house when they were still dating. He even had to risk his life for his love for Lina.

"When I used to visit Cicadas, I would come home and get beaten up by six people, 'You have to stay away from this woman'. Because of how much I loved her, how much I cherished her, I fought for it even if it meant risking my life. But behind that, I am not a saint either, there may have been mistakes that led us to this," he concluded.
