Susan Sameh Accepts Challenging Role in Horror Thriller Film 'PUSAKA', Admits Wanting to Grow So as Not to Be Stuck

Kapanlagi.com - Susan Sameh stars in the horror thriller film titled PUSAKA directed by Rizal Mantovani. Susan portrays the character named Hanna, an accountant involved in a restoration project of a house filled with antique items.

Being involved in the film PUSAKA is acknowledged to be very challenging for Susan. Because even though it's a horror film, she not only screams in fear but also has to play with emotions in performing brutal and blood-filled scenes.

"This film is really challenging for me. Usually, in horror films, you just run in fear being chased by ghosts, but here I have to survive. It's not just memorizing dialogues, but also incorporating those scenes into myself. The emotions are very intense from the beginning to the end, always tense," said Susan when met in the Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, last week.

1. Don't Want to Be in the Comfort Zone

Hanna's role in the film PUSAKA revealed that it has never been played by Susan Sameh. That is the reason she took on the role because she doesn't want to be in the comfort zone.

"I like taking challenging offers because I want to develop myself and not get stuck like this," said the twenty-seven-year-old actress.

2. Staying at Home

As someone with the profession of an actor, it is revealed that sometimes the roles played can affect the real world. Susan Sameh has a habit of being able to detach from the character.

"After finishing a film, I always ask for a week to stay at home, I need healing and calming myself. Usually, I eat well, go to the gym, to get back to my original self," said Susan.
