Refusing to mention her lover's name, Tata asserts that she does not steal anyone who still belongs to someone else. This includes her current boyfriend, whom she ensures is not involved with any other woman.
"The first thing I asked was, 'Are you clear with anyone?'" Tata said to Melaney.
"Well, that's right," said Melaney.
Not trusting her lover's words blindly, Tata then conducts a crosscheck. Only after confirming whether her lover's confession is true or not, she continues their relationship.
"I'm not stupid. I crosscheck first," Tata said.
"Well. I apologize to all the girls out there. This is Tata's case, I mean. You ask first, get an answer, but don't immediately believe. You have to crosscheck," said Melaney.
"Yes, I crosscheck. I crosscheck with everyone who knows him," Tata firmly stated.
Tata conducted further examination regarding her boyfriend's status because she doesn't want to be a home-wrecker. Having failed in two marriages, Tata doesn't want to hurt anyone when entering a relationship.
"I don't want to hurt anyone," said Tata.
"That's right, let's not be happy at the expense of others," said Melaney.
"Hmm," Tata replied.
"So, is it clear now?" asked Melaney.
"Clear," Tata answered.
"Wow, getting married soon, good luck my dear," Melaney exclaimed.
"Amen," Tata concluded.
