Last September, the name Andibachtiar Yusuf became the center of negative attention from the public. This happened after Liesmita Juandini, the casting director and talent coordinator, revealed that one of her female team members with the initial C was allegedly subjected to physical and verbal violence by the director, who is affectionately known as Ucup.
What is Andibachtiar Yusuf's clarification?
Juandini's explanation through Instagram Story led to Andibachtiar being fired from the post-production stage of the CATATAN AKHIR SEKOLAH series project.
Not only that, the bespectacled director was also expelled from the IFDC directors association.
Long time no news, Andibachtiar Yusuf said that the case was resolved after entering the mediation stage. Because the female crew member with the initial C did not file a report to the police.
"Mediation was conducted. After mediation, there was nothing. In other words, it's just over like that. I was planning to go for a walk but didn't because I was waiting to be called by the police," said Andibachtiar when met in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (25/7/2023).
"Turns out there were no reports at all. It's really annoying, just social media chaos," he continued.
People assume that after the viral case, Andibachtiar Yusuf did not get a job. Even though he is still actively leading a series for one of the television stations.
"People see that I haven't been shooting yet. Even though since February, I've been continuously doing a series on TVRI," he explained.
