Kapanlagi.com - Raffi Ahmad was sweating when the Regent of Kendal, Dico Ganinduto, invited him to run in the 2024 Regional Election. The husband of Nagita Slavina admitted that he had never thought of receiving an offer to enter the world of politics, let alone as a regional head.
According to him, not only becoming a candidate for Governor of Central Java, but also being an artist had never crossed Raffi's mind before.
"Don't ask me now, I'm also confused about what to answer. Let alone politics, I never thought of becoming an artist. Just go for it, just try. Whatever it is, look at things in a balanced way," said Raffi Ahmad in Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (28/5/2024).

Previously, Raffi Ahmad and Dico became the talk of the town after their billboard went viral on social media. Interestingly, from there, both of them were rumored to run as candidates for the Governor of Central Java. However, Raffi Ahmad himself has never discussed politics with Dico.
"Not yet, not at all. Because yesterday I was helping politics by supporting the figures who were running," said Raffi.
Raffi stated that everyone has different ways of contributing to the country. Meanwhile, he chose the entertainment and business world, one of which is collaborating with Dico through the Gas Jateng program to advance micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the homeland.
"As a young person, there are various ways to advance the nation, like Mas Dico serving the nation and the country through his political path. If until now I have been serving with an entertainment and entrepreneurial spirit, let's think about this collaboration," he said.
Raffi admitted that he is committed to advancing Indonesian MSMEs.
"I am definitely 100 percent committed to it. But for this one, I need to ask for permission first," concluded Raffi Ahmad.
