Synopsis of the Movie Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - The Movie: Infinity Castle

This movie will continue the story of Tanjiro and his friends in their efforts to stop Muzan and the 12 Upper Moons. The end of the story from Demon Slayer Season 4 concluded with Tanjiro and the Hashira almost defeating Muzan but ultimately leading to the demon hunters entering the Infinity Castle. As Tanjiro and his friends train with the Hashira, Kibutsuji Muzan appears at Ubuyashiki's house to threaten his life. Muzan's sudden arrival prompts Tanjiro and the Hashira to rush back to headquarters to stop Muzan, the Demon King. In their efforts to stop Muzan, Tanjiro and the Hashira find themselves plunged into the demons' headquarters known as the Infinity Castle. The final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons begins. Tanjiro and his friends, along with the Hashira, are forced to separate in the battlefield dominated by the Upper Moon Demons. Akaza, the Upper Moon Demon 3 who killed Rengoku the Flame Hashira, returns in this movie and will fight against Tanjiro and Giyu Tomioka. Other characters like Zenitsu will also confront Kaigaku, who was once his training partner but betrayed him and killed his master. Shinobu, the Insect Hashira, will also seek revenge against the Upper Moon Demon 2 who killed her sister.

Based on the manga series written by Koyoharu Gotouge, this movie will be the climax of the battle between the Demon Slayers and the Upper Moon Demons. This movie is once again directed by Haruo Sotozaki, who successfully directed the previous movie, and will be produced by Ufotable. The story of Tanjiro and the Hashira's battle can now be watched in your favorite cinema.
