Tamara revealed that Dante is very excited to welcome the month of Ramadan. One of the habits that she remembers the most is Dante's enthusiasm in attending tarawih prayers at home.

“His habit is like tarawih, Dante prays tarawih at home with us. Then like shopping for iftar snacks, he goes with me. A lot, during the month of Ramadan he really loves tarawih,” said Tamara in a soft voice.

2. Longing Together with Dante

In the midst of deep sadness, Tamara reminisces about the beautiful moments shared with Dante. The last Ramadan they spent together became an unforgettable memory. According to Tamara, this year should have been Dante's second year learning to fast. She imagines how Dante's enthusiasm for performing the worship would have increased.

“This should be his second year learning to fast. I think maybe this year he would have fasted fully. Last year, the plan was to learn half a day,” continued Tamara, trying to hold back her tears.

Tamara expressed how close their relationship was, and how Dante always made her smile. The longing was increasingly felt as Tamara always remembered Dante's enthusiasm in welcoming Ramadan. She reminisced about how her son was always full of spirit in anticipating the holy month.

“Always looking forward to fasting and indeed the intention last year was to learn about fasting. That's why since yesterday, I was like, oh if only Dante was here for his second year of fasting,” Tamara said with a trembling voice.

4. Missing Iftar Together

For Tamara, every moment with Dante during Ramadan is a memory that will never be forgotten. One of the most memorable was when they broke their fast together, especially at the late school.

“All the moments are unforgettable, especially our Ramadan moments when we were often at home. He always joined me for iftar. I miss the iftar at school, that's what I long for. It has been two years since I couldn't join Dante's school iftar,” she admitted with deep emotion.

5. Pilgrimage to Dante's Grave

Tamara chose the 27th to visit Dante's grave. This date holds deep meaning for her, as Dante passed away on the same date in January. “Yesterday I visited my grandfather's grave in Surabaya, then I went to my father's grave with my uncles, and after that, I went to Dante. Since the 27th is the date Dante passed away, I wanted it to be on the same day,” Tamara revealed.

This pilgrimage serves as a form of respect and a source of comfort for Tamara. She admits to always feeling close to Dante every time she prays at her child's grave. “I always bring my best prayers for Dante. Even though he is no longer here, I believe he is happy there,” Tamara said with teary eyes.

6. A Different Feeling of Ramadan

Tamara also shared how Ramadan now feels different without Dante's presence. She strives to continue her worship with sincerity, even though feelings of loss often come to her.

“Ramadan is a month full of blessings, but also full of memories. I try to be strong because I know Dante wants me to be happy,” she added.
