Tasya Farasya Turns Out to Have Already Divorced Religiously from Ahmad Assegaf Before Filing for Divorce in Court

The divorce process of Tasya Farasya and Ahmad Assegaf at the South Jakarta Religious Court is apparently just a step for legal recognition. This is because, religiously, the two had officially separated before the lawsuit was filed.

Tasya Farasya's attorney, Sangun Ragahdo, revealed that Ahmad Assegaf has pronounced talak to his client on September 10, 2025. The divorce lawsuit was only registered in court on September 12, 2025.

"It should also be emphasized that, prior to this, Mrs. Tasya has been divorced religiously since September 10, before we filed this lawsuit. She has been divorced by the defendant, her ex-husband," said Sangun Ragahdo at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (24/9/2025).

With the divorce, their marital status religiously has ended. This couple, known for their harmony, had even stopped living under the same roof before the legal process began.

"Therefore, religiously, Mrs. Tasya is no longer his wife; they are not husband and wife anymore, even before the lawsuit was filed, Mrs. Tasya had already separated from her ex-husband. So now they do not live together anymore," he explained.

This fact reinforces the reasons behind the divorce lawsuit, namely the continuous disputes that have made their household impossible to maintain. The crux of the issue is the loss of trust due to allegations of embezzlement of company funds.

"This is the disappointment that our client Mrs. Tasya has felt over the trust given, only to be betrayed. Therefore, we have filed this lawsuit," said Sangun.

Although they have separated religiously, the court process must still be undertaken to obtain a valid legal decree from the state. The mediation that was held also ended in a deadlock and did not find a way to reconcile.

"The result of this mediation cannot reconcile again. Therefore, the next hearing will be held on October 8, 2025," he concluded.
