When she finally could go back to Indonesia, Tasyi called it a surprise. She didn't announce beforehand that she had booked a ticket to Jakarta.
Due to the large number of people and the amount of luggage, Tasyi rented a bus to take them from the airport to their house. Of course, renting a bus is not cheap.
Upon arriving home, Tasyi was greeted with various Indonesian delicacies. All of these foods were sent by her mother, Ala Alatas. These food deliveries also indicate that Tasyi's relationship with her mother has been reconciled.
After resting overnight, Tasyi visited her mother at her house. Bu Ala welcomed Tasyi with various traditional wet snacks like during Lebaran. According to Bu Ala, she prepared whatever cakes she could for her beloved daughter whom she hasn't seen in 2 months.
