Teach a Healthy Lifestyle from an Early Age, Venna Melinda Proud of Verrell & Athalla Not Smoking

Kapanlagi.com - In the midst of her concern about the rampant smoking habits among young people, Venna Melinda feels proud because she has successfully instilled a healthy lifestyle in her two sons, Verrell Bramasta and Athalla Naufal. Both have grown into young men who are far from cigarettes.

According to Venna, this success is inseparable from the education and examples she has provided since her children were small. She always gives an understanding of the harmful effects of smoking habits.

"Because since they were small, they have seen it. I have socialized that smoking has these effects, while they are very athletic," said Venna Melinda when met in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (10/11/2025).

1. Stay Accomplished Even Without Smoking

This 53-year-old actress also instills the understanding that looking cool doesn't have to involve smoking. She proves that with a healthy lifestyle, one can still appear attractive and achieve success.

"I exemplify a healthy lifestyle, but I can still be cool like this," she asserted.

Venna acknowledged that her son, Athalla Naufal, once wanted to experiment, but fortunately, he follows in the footsteps of his older brother, Verrell, who is very disciplined in maintaining his health.

2. Long-Term Investment

More than just a habit, Venna views health as a very valuable long-term investment. According to her, choosing a healthy lifestyle is a way to love oneself.

"If we want to live long, at an older age like mine, still having a healthy heart and healthy lungs, that's an investment," she explained.

When asked about the trend of electronic cigarettes or vapes that are currently popular among young people, Venna admitted she doesn't quite understand the difference. However, she believes that all types of cigarettes have a negative impact on health.
