"At that time, my mother was in the ICU, she had uterine cancer. So, here's the thing, we have a habit that when we're watching TV, my mother always says, 'I want to see Niki perform on stage with Haji Bolot, the late Omas'. Then suddenly, I don't know why my friend said, 'Nik, do you want to duet with Mas Anang Hermansyah? It's being offered'. So I told my mother before she went into the ICU," Niki recalled.

2. Mother Enters ICU

When she started the recording process, which took quite a long time, Niki's mother entered the ICU due to her uterine cancer. However, Niki decided to continue recording to make her mother happy.

"When I was recording, suddenly my mother entered the ICU, she couldn't speak anymore, she could only use some device. I always prayed to God, like, 'God, if this is my path to make my parents happy, I want to (keep recording) even if my mother is in the ICU'," she added while shedding tears.

"It turns out that after 4 to 5 months of recording until I met Loli, then talked to Mas Anang, we went to Singapore and so on, suddenly Syahrini came in. Finally, everything fell apart and my mother was initially happy, then I don't know why Mas Anang immediately got close to Syahrini, and then she took his song. My mother was admitted to the ICU, but not the usual one, the intensive one. Maybe this is not my fate. But from that incident, I can become the Nikita Mirzani I am now," he concluded.
