Teased for Copyright Infringement, Trio Warkopi Admits Wanting to Meet Indro Warkop

Kapanlagi.com - Three young men named The Warkopi Trio, consisting of Epriadi Chaniago, Alfred, and Alfin Dwi Krisnandi, suddenly went viral on social media. They went viral because they were said to resemble Dono, Kasino, and Indro. Due to their striking resemblance, the three young men formed a group called Warkopi.

Apparently, the resemblance of the trio Epriadi Chaniago, Alfred, and Alfin Dwi Krisnandi was not well received by Indro Warkop. The comedian, who is familiarly called Pak De Indro, believes that what the Warkopi Trio did has violated copyright.

The Warkop DKI institution had previously issued a warning to Warkopi for allegedly violating Intellectual Property Rights. In response to this, the Warkopi Trio handed over all these issues to the management.

"Maybe our management has been communicating with Pak De Indro via email," said Alfin Dwi Krisnandi at the Langit Entertainment office on Wednesday (22/9/2021).

1. Afraid of Saying the Wrong Thing

In this case, the Warkopi trio doesn't want to comment much on the issues with the Warkop group.

"I don't want to answer, afraid of saying the wrong thing," said Alfin.

Although considered a copyright infringement, Afin Dwi Krisnandi, who is said to resemble Indro Warkop, admits to having a desire to meet directly with the only member of the Warkop group.

"Really want to (meet Indro Warkop)," he said.
