Tengku Dewi Confidently Seeks Custody, Highlights Andrew Andika's Responsibility in Supporting Their Child

Regarding child custody, it's not just Tengku Dewi who is optimistic. Her close friend, Fairuz A. Rafiq, also shares a similar belief.

"When it comes to child custody, it definitely goes to Dewi, right? The children are still under 17 years old. I think it rightfully belongs in Dewi's hands," said Fairuz A Rafiq in the SCBD area, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/4/2024).

2. Tengku Dewi Becomes a Good Mother

Fairuz also stated that Tengku Dewi fully takes care of and provides for her children. Therefore, she referred to Tengku Dewi as a good mother.

"As her friend, I really see how Dewi takes care of her children, being a good mother and also providing for her children, fully for Dewi's children who she supports," Fairuz A Rafiq added.

3. Andrew Andika No Longer Provides Support

Next, Tengku Dewi revealed that Andrew Andika once played a role in supporting their children. He also transferred some money before the birth of their youngest child. However, everything changed after Andrew got caught up in legal issues.

"If you say he didn’t fully support, that’s not true. But it seems that since he got into legal trouble, that was the last time he supported. When I was about to give birth, there was a little transfer for the children," Dewi revealed.

4. Starting Over

Even though she has been hurt, Tengku Dewi shows a full understanding of Andrew Andika's journey, who has to start a new life after getting entangled in legal issues. Firmly, she stated that she does not want to depend on anyone else. Tengku Dewi is determined to fight on her own.

"From now on, I just want to think positively because he is coming out of rehab, so he has to start again. Honestly, I don’t want to hope to depend on anyone anymore.

I will try and struggle on my own first because we never know what will happen in the future," she continued.

5. Hoping for Responsibility in Supporting the Child

Tengku Dewi also showed a full of empathy attitude. She tries to understand the situation that Andrew is currently facing. Although he is in the early phase of recovery after his difficult times, Tengku Dewi hopes that Andrew Andika can still fulfill his role as a father responsibly.

"I still understand his position right now. Okay, he is starting over because he just got out and so on. Let's just see what happens in the future, hopefully he will be responsible," said Tengku Dewi.
