There are many issues circulating regarding the reasons for the breakdown of Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan's marriage, which is currently being heard in court. These issues range from economic problems, infidelity, to the material and spiritual support during their two years of marriage.
Both Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan deny the rumors that are circulating.
Although he doesn't disclose the real reasons, Teuku Ryan is committed not to expose his family's secrets for public consumption.
"I will not retaliate or expose my wife's secrets because no matter what, she is still the mother of my child," said Teuku Ryan after the trial at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday (19/2/2024).
Even until now, the father of one child is still trying to make his household intact again as it used to be. Teuku Ryan wants to start a new chapter in his marriage.
"Please pray for me. I have tried my best to maintain my household. If the unpleasant news outside is not true, then God will surely know. Basically, I only ask for prayers, please pray for everything to be fine," Teuku Ryan requested.
Unfortunately, Teuku Ryan's good intentions to maintain his household have not been well received by the mother of one child. Ria Ricis seems to still firmly hold onto her decision to end their marriage.
From the divorce session with mediation agenda, it seems that there is no common ground between Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan. Nevertheless, Teuku Ryan will still try to restore their household.
"Still trying. So the mediator leading this is extraordinary. So still trying, coincidentally (the judge) is a mother. So she understands very well the condition of a two-year-old household," Dedi Armidi, Teuku Ryan's legal representative, concluded.
When attending the first session, Ria Ricis shook hands and kissed Teuku Ryan's hand. Although they will be divorced, they still have a good relationship.
As a reminder, Ria Ricis filed for divorce against Teuku Ryan on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, through ecourt with case number 547/Pdt.G/2024/PA.JS. Unfortunately, it is still unknown why their marriage ended in divorce.
