Teuku Ryan's Portrait at the Gala Premiere of His Debut Film, Ready to Release While the Divorce Process with Ria Ricis is Ongoing

Teuku Ryan attended the gala premiere in the midst of his divorce proceedings with Ria Ricis. Here, he appeared with other actors who starred in this film. 

Considering this is his debut on the big screen, Ryan admitted that he was nervous at first. However, he was grateful to meet co-stars like Dea Annisa and the late Yayu Unru who helped him in acting.

"I was really nervous shooting my first film, so it was a new experience. But it was very memorable, especially because I could work with Dea and the late Uncle Yayu. I learned a lot from them," Ryan said when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta.

The role played by Teuku Ryan was not easy. Because from the beginning to the end, he experienced personal growth.

"Difficulties are definitely there because I have a change in character. In the beginning of the film, it's very different from the end, especially the end which becomes very Islamic while I am just normal," said the man who is currently going through a divorce with Ria Ricis.

In this film by Muhammad Amrul Ummami, Teuku Ryan plays a young man named Reyhan who is in love with a Muslimah who memorizes the Quran. But his love is not reciprocated as his crush ends up marrying someone else.

With the release of this film, Ryan hopes that many people will gain lessons from it. Especially about sincerity. "I hope many people will watch this film in the cinema," he said.

"Because this is not just a movie, but there are many lessons to learn. Here we have to learn to be sincere. Insha Allah, there will be someone who can relate," said this father of one child.
