The music group Sisitipsi has just released their latest single titled Pejuang 9 Bulan. Through this song, Sisitipsi collaborates with talented young singer, Keysa Aisyah. To KapanLagi.com, Dimas Anggara or better known as Angga, the keyboardist of Sisitipsi, tells the story of the beginning of the collaboration with Keysa Aisyah through the song Pejuang 9 Bulan.
"Because personally, Keysa is under the RK music label, so personally I have been involved in several projects there to produce music, producing some talents there. And happened to know people inside, and so on," said Angga at the KLY office, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (17/1/2023).
"There was an offer from RK music on 'how about Sisitipsi collaborating with one of RK's talents'. The talent is a teenager, I think it would be fun to tell the kids, Sisitipsi hasn't done it before," added Angga.
From there, Angga initially didn't want to tell the other members of Sisitipsi that he received a collaboration offer that was considered quite challenging. Considering that the theme of the song to be made is considered so sentimental, which is about mother.
"Then there's also a request for a quite sentimental song about mother 'this is one of the challenges, it would be a shame if we don't tackle it'," said Angga.
After that, Angga gave this good news to his bandmates to work on the song 'Pejuang 9 Bulan'. Angga admitted that this song was worked on so quickly and in a short time.
"Finally, I talked to the Sisitipsi guys and they responded well and they agreed, finally with all the speed, in a very short time, this fun project came to life," he said.
Not only the process of making it was quick and fast. Fauzan Lubis, also known as Ojan, the vocalist of Sisitipsi who wrote the song 'Pejuang 9 Bulan', added that the writing of the song was also done so quickly. In fact, Ojan felt that writing a song about mothers was given great ease.
"My lyrics are what make it. Maybe what Angga said about time being very short, maybe in the sense that God gives ease because this is about mothers. When we are satisfied and have given something more about mothers, God will definitely make it easier. Blessings to my mother," said Ojan.
"The recording process is also thanks to God, the process is very fast too. We recorded at earHouse Endah N Rhesa studio. And mbak Endah, despite her busy schedule, could directly become our vocal director and that is an amazing grace. Blessings in seeking blessings," Ojan concluded.
