It is known that they just had their wedding blessing ceremony at HKBP Rawamangun Church, East Jakarta, on Friday (5/5/2023). After becoming husband and wife, Jessica Mila and Yakup revealed the beginning of their love story.
"Our first meeting was through a mutual friend. Yakup asked his friend to introduce us. Eventually, we met and got closer," said Jessica Mila.
"It wasn't long, and I am grateful that my relationship with Yakup was guided and blessed by God. There were arguments, but it didn't weaken our bond. Instead, it brought us closer together," added Jessica Mila.
From the beginning of their introduction, they communicated more intensively. Their relationship continued until they decided to date during the covid-19 pandemic.
"So, I got to know Febby Rastanty. After that, our relationship became more intense. There were many things that made me fall in love with Mila. Like other covid couples, we couldn't go anywhere. That's why we often spend time at home when we're dating," said Yakup Hasibuan.
As time passed, Jessica Mila and Yakup Hasibuan decided to get married. Yakup explained that from the beginning of their relationship, they were both serious about getting married.
"From the beginning, we wanted a serious relationship. We talked a lot about our goals, values, and life missions, and we found that we had a lot in common. We became confident that we were meant to be together," said Yakup.
"Mila and I often discuss things. Our dinners are usually long because we talk so much, sometimes until closing time. If we have the same goals and values, let's continue together," Yakup concluded.
