Long before today, Aura Kasih was a Sales Promotion Girl. At that time, she was still in high school. This was revealed on the KUY Entertainment YouTube channel on May 20, 2020.
Aura Kasih started her career in the entertainment industry as a finalist in Miss Indonesia 2007, representing the Province of Lampung. Although she did not win the title, the event successfully opened doors for Aura to become more recognized by the public. Her captivating physical appearance and star aura began to attract the attention of producers and entertainment enthusiasts, making her increasingly considered in the world of entertainment.
After participating in Miss Indonesia, Aura Kasih launched her debut as a singer in 2008 with the release of the album Malaikat Penggoda. Her main song titled Mari Bercinta became one of the big hits in Indonesia. Her sensual vocal style and provocative lyrics immediately caught attention. This song also boosted her name as a newcomer singer.
Success in the music world opened the way for Aura Kasih to try her hand at acting. In 2009, she made her acting debut in the film ASMARA DUA DIANA. This film marked Aura's first experience playing a leading role on the big screen. Although it was her first time acting, her performance was considered quite good and showed her potential as an actress. This encouraged her to become more active in taking roles in other films.
After that, Aura starred in several other popular films, such as 3 CEWEK PETUALANG and SURAT KECIL UNTUK TUHAN. However, the film that truly elevated her name as an actress was ARINI (2018).
In ARINI, Aura plays a female character named Arini who faces a love dilemma. Her performance as Arini was considered very emotional and mature, earning her much praise from film critics. This role marked her maturity in the acting world and proved that she is not just a singer.
In addition to appearing on the big screen, Aura Kasih also ventured into the world of soap operas and FTV. She appeared several times in soap operas with different roles, enriching her acting portfolio. Her popularity on television helped Aura expand her fan base, especially among television viewers. Here, she showcased her flexibility as an actress by taking on various genres, from romantic dramas to comedies.
Not only successful as a singer and actress, Aura Kasih is also known as a model. She often appears as a model in various music videos and commercials. Now, she rarely appears on screen and has chosen to become a businesswoman in the beauty industry.
