The Controversial Dowry, Angelica Simperler Speaks Out

However, Angelica denied that the dowry she received was as large as what was sensationalized by the public. According to her, it was a misunderstanding between the mention of the dowry during the wedding ceremony and the actual jewelry she received.

"Actually, it's a bit exaggerated. It's not just diamonds, but a combination of gold and diamonds. That's it. So it's not as sensational as in the news," said Angelica recently.

Angelica also admitted that she had no specific intention when choosing jewelry as her wedding dowry. She and Rico only chose the numbers based on their wedding date.

"We didn't even think about it. We just adjusted to the date. Oh, the date is the 20th. We discussed it beforehand, so we have gold, diamonds, just a mixture. But we didn't expect it to become such a big deal," she explained.

2. Not Much Difference

Now Angelica is officially a wife and has only been married for a few days. This soap opera star doesn't feel much difference, except for a few things.

"There's nothing that really surprises me. I mean, there's nothing that really shocks me. The only difference now is that there's someone sleeping next to me," she said.

In addition, Angelica also has other concerns besides herself. In the past, she only prepared for her own needs, but now she has to think about cooking for her husband and stepchildren.
