After graduating from middle school, the five members of the Generation of Miracles spread to various high schools with the best basketball teams. Kuroko then joins Seirin High School, a new school with an ambitious basketball team.
The first season of Kuroko no Basket aired from April 7, 2012, to September 22, 2012, with a total of 25 episodes. This season introduces Tetsuya Kuroko and Taiga Kagami, two freshmen who join the Seirin High School basketball team.
They form a unique "light and shadow" duo with the goal of making Seirin the best team in Japan and defeating Kuroko's former teammates from the Generation of Miracles.
This OVA was released in 2013 and is often referred to as episode 13.5. It covers the story of Kise and his entry into the main team of Teiko Middle School, featuring all members of the Generation of Miracles.
