Al Ghazali and El Rumi both proposed to their partners abroad. Al Ghazali proposed to Alyssa Daguise at Lake Como, Italy, while El Rumi proposed to Syifa Hadju in the Swiss Alps.

Regarding the love journey, El Rumi made a quick decision to marry Syifa Hadju. Compared to Al Ghazali, who dated for 8 years and had a 2-year breakup with Alyssa Daguise, El Rumi and Syifa's love journey was quite swift.

After getting back together with Alyssa Daguise, Al Ghazali proposed to his girlfriend at Lake Como, Italy. This proposal was truly a surprise for Alyssa, with the help of Aaliyah Massaid who assisted in the preparations.

Al Ghazali gave a fairly large diamond ring to Alyssa Daguise. The moment took place in the middle of the beautiful Lake Como, and Alyssa accepted Al's proposal with tears of joy.

Unlike Al Ghazali, El Rumi actually proposed to Syifa to her parents earlier. That moment took place a few months before the couple decided to do their pre-wedding in England and Switzerland. El then decided to propose to Syifa personally when they were doing their pre-wedding photoshoot in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. Syifa was surprised when she saw El kneeling and presenting her with a giant diamond ring.

Al Ghazali himself had previously failed to propose to Alyssa the year before. Then in 2024, he proposed to Alyssa with a diamond ring that he chose himself, featuring a fairly large stone and estimated to be worth hundreds of millions.

Meanwhile, El proposed to Syifa with a diamond ring worth Rp953 million. Irwan Mussry, El's stepfather, helped choose the engagement ring for Syifa, and it turned out to be a bit too big.  Syifa revealed that she indeed wanted to be proposed to in a personal manner, even though she had already been proposed to in front of her parents. Then El surprised her in Switzerland during their pre-wedding photoshoot.El only informed Maia Estianty and a few others about his personal proposal plan to Syifa. He also only told the photographer one day before and the makeup artist on the day of the event.

El proposed to Syifa with an oval cut diamond ring weighing 3.01 carats, with the ring made of gold and platinum. Before choosing that jewelry, El sought help from Irwan Mussry, his stepfather, who understands jewelry better than he does. Syifa herself admitted that she rarely wears her engagement ring because she is afraid of losing it. She only wears it on special occasions because the price of her engagement ring is extraordinarily expensive.
