Once Down and Out, Ira Swara Received Help from Raffi Ahmad of Rp50 Million

In the midst of that struggle, she admitted to receiving significant help from the famous presenter Raffi Ahmad. The husband of Nagita Slavina reportedly provided a substantial amount of cash assistance to ease the educational burden of Ira Swara's children.

"Yes, it's true, actually since 2023, coincidentally my husband's economic condition is not doing well because the property business is not going as expected. Then I also started singing again because of that situation. I heard news that Raffi Ahmad helped with Rp50 million, Alhamdulillah it was very beneficial for us at that time," explained Ira Swara in the Warung Buncit area, South Jakarta, on Monday (19/1/2026).

Ira acknowledged that the assistance came at the right time, especially when the educational expenses for her children became a top priority. She did not expect the attention from fellow artists to be so tangible during her struggle to rebuild her life, which had been unstable due to business failures and pending asset permits."It was just the right time to pay for her brother's college, and then to enroll Yunia in acting school. Insya Allah it will be beneficial," said Ira.

Regarding her husband's profession as an online driver, Ira Swara admitted that she continues to provide full support without feeling ashamed. For her, a person's dignity is not determined by their job as long as it is halal. In fact, she feels proud of her husband's determination to do any job at an age that is no longer young for the welfare of their family.

"Yes, from 2022 until now. Because of age, it's a bit difficult to be accepted for an office job. In the end, my husband said he would do anything to cover our daily needs. I just support him, as long as it's halal and brings blessings to the family," she asserted.

The struggle of Ira Swara with her family is now starting to bear fruit as she returns to being active on television. Although valuable assets were sold and pawned to survive, Ira remains optimistic that this trial will soon pass. She continues to make maximum efforts to rise from the downturn that has occurred over the past few years.

"We are still struggling, it's not really stable yet. In the past, I wanted to take a break to take care of the kids, but oh God, it turns out that’s not what You want. I still have to work again because my husband's business is doing well," said Ira Swara.
