Kapanlagi.com - Prime Video has announced that the Korean drama The Divorce Insurance will stream exclusively. This rom-com series stars Lee Dong Wook, Lee Joo Been, Lee Kwang Soo, and Lee Da Hee.
It presents a unique story about Noh Ki-jun (Lee Dong Wook), an insurance expert who is trying to develop a divorce insurance product. In the midst of calculating divorce costs with his insurance team, they unexpectedly discover a deeper meaning about themselves and the meaning of love.
Noh Ki-jun is a seemingly perfect man who has it all: a prestigious academic background and a bright career as an insurance expert. However, behind his success, he harbors a bitter reality of three divorces that have left him devastated and bankrupt. After losing everything due to divorce, Ki-jun is determined to develop a divorce insurance product that can protect those who face a similar fate.
Kang Han-deul (Lee Joo Been) is a quiet woman who rarely expresses her feelings. After being married for 5 years and receiving mistreatment from her in-laws, Han-deul finally decides to get a divorce. Now, she is determined to become a different woman and starts a new job at the same company as Ki-jun.
An Jeon-man (Lee Kwang Soo) is a shy man who prioritizes safety above all else. Jeon-man has known Ki-jun since they were in elementary school, and although their personalities are very different, their friendship has lasted for years even as they work at the same company. Jeon-man has also experienced divorce, and although he is reluctant to admit it, he is intrigued by Ki-jun's idea of developing a divorce insurance product.
Jeon Na-rae (Lee Da Hee) is a woman who values freedom and does not want to be constrained. Her differing views on marriage led her to decide to get a divorce in the past, and since then, she has never considered marrying again. However, her meeting with Ki-jun awakens her curiosity, especially about Ki-jun's previous divorce and his unique idea of creating a divorce insurance product.
The Divorce Insurance is directed by Lee Won-seok, known for his films such as Killing Romance and The Royal Tailor. The series is written by Lee Tae-yoon, who also wrote Secret Royal Inspector & Joy.
Don't miss this unique series full of romance and comedy. Watch The Divorce Insurance airing every Monday and Tuesday starting March 31 on Prime Video. If you don't watch it, when else will you see Lee Dong Wook and Lee Kwang Soo together?
