She went through a period of despair. A chaotic and constant fighting marriage made her want to end her life.

"The marriage has become good. It's a miracle to my family. Back then, Mel, it seemed like the husband and wife wanted to fight and even wanted to commit suicide," she said.

2. Husband Out of Town

Moreover, at that time, she had to take care of the child herself. "My husband is busy working out of town, I take care of the child myself, alone," added the blonde-haired woman.

The messy household also sparked a desire to separate. However, in the end, it was not done.

"It wasn't okay before (husband and wife relationship). It seemed like we were going to separate or something, but God is good, God restores everything," Pinkan continued.

Financial problems were one of the issues that colored the household arguments. Pinkan recalled that her husband was still building his business at that time.

"My family had problems, there was no money at one point. I was already down, burdened with taking care of 6 children. I don't know where the money came from, my husband was just starting his business here, so the money came in slowly," explained Pinkan.

Pinkan also admitted that she didn't know what to do when her career faded. She only knew how to sing for a living. She eventually sold bananas and continued to take care of her children.
