The Impact of the Pandemic, Dee Company No Longer Depends on Cinemas

Dheeraj Kalwani, Producer of Dee Company, revealed that they have prepared 9 shows for OTT Streaming. "We have to remain optimistic. Keep moving and being creative. Everything has its own wisdom, including the fact that we can enter the digital realm because of this pandemic," he said.

1. A Breath of Fresh Air for Film Enthusiasts

The abundance of OTT platforms can also be a breath of fresh air for film enthusiasts. "Currently, OTT platforms like WeTV, Disney+ Hotstar, We tv, Netflix, and many others have their own advantages. Cinemas have scheduled showtimes due to limited screens. On the other hand, OTT offers even greater opportunities," he explained.

During the pandemic, Dheeraj admitted to losing a significant amount of potential income. Moreover, some productions have already been completed but cannot be screened yet.

According to him, OTT can be a solution at the moment. "Dee Company sees this opportunity as a chance to grow. There may need to be adjustments. But that's not a big problem. We already have 9 titles ready to be produced this year," said Dheeraj Kalwani.
