Friend Anji Manji, Jhon LBF reveals another side of their love journey that has been far from publication. During their relationship, Anji is indeed known to be very private about his romantic affairs.

Nevertheless, Desy is said to always be faithfully accompanying Anji in various activities, both work-related and casual meetings with his closest friends.

"Anji is the type of person who really doesn’t want to share much about that. So when he meets me, we just talk about work and his activities. But what often happens is (Desy) is always there," said Jhon LBF when met in the Cibubur area, East Jakarta, Sunday (24/05/2026).

Anji's close friend, Jhon LBF, revealed a unique fact about how Anji maintains the quality of his relationship with Desy. According to him, the singer of the song 'Kau' becomes someone who is very difficult to reach when he is spending time alone with his girlfriend.

"Usually when they are on vacation or doing activities together, he doesn’t want to be disturbed. His phone usually has a very slow response, and that’s a characteristic of Anji when he’s out with Desy, which means they are having quality time together," said Jhon.

Desy herself does not come from a public figure background. Although she is from Medan, Desy's character is considered very gentle and calm. Jhon LBF admitted to being impressed with Desy's personality, which is seen as a very suitable partner to accompany Anji in the future.

"My first impression of Desy is that, Insya Allah, I am sure she is the right partner for Anji, she can accompany Anji. She is very friendly, polite, kind, speaks softly even though she is from Medan, usually the character from there has a higher tone, but not her, she speaks softly, very composed, very well-educated," explained Jhon.

The seriousness of their relationship is proven by Desy's decision to convert to Islam before the marriage ceremony takes place. Anji also appears to love his wife very much, and even friends assess that Anji is in a phase of being very affectionate towards his partner or "bucin".

"I see Anji is quite 'bucin' with her, in my opinion, he really loves Desi, that's why they got married today," said Jhon.
