However, her journey of hijrah began after meeting Ustaz Abdul Somad (UAS), who was discussing the song Keong Racun at that time.

After listening to UAS's lecture, Cinta admitted that she wanted to wear hijab and cover her body. Cinta said she wanted to undergo hijrah because she was afraid of death. 

“When I arrived in Padang, I went into the room and talked to the manager. 'What if I wear hijab?' What I meant was that I wanted to cover the most obligatory parts first, and character would follow through the process,” she said.

“At first, they were shocked because of the contracts and other things. However, I told them that I felt scared. Scared of death, and I didn't have any answers there. Because my manager felt sorry for me, I finally talked to the producer. I was embarrassed because my clothes were all open and I didn't have any long-sleeved clothes,” she continued. 

She said that her decision was not easy, even received criticism from close people. But Cinta tried to prove that her intention to change is not half-hearted.
