On September 16, 2025, Yun Ji On was questioned by the police for driving a car while intoxicated. The actor then expressed his apology through his personal Instagram.
Not only that, Yun Ji On also admitted his mistake and expressed regret for his actions. He then decided to withdraw from the drama POSITIVELY YOURS.
The drama POSITIVELY YOURS has been in production since July 2025. Yun Ji On's exit from the project has disrupted the production process. The production team eventually had to think of new steps to keep the filming going.
On September 18, the production team of POSITIVELY YOURS released an official statement. They confirmed that all scenes featuring Yun Ji On would be replaced. The production also explained that the process of replacing the actor would be carried out soon.
The production team stated that they are currently looking for the right actor. The role of Lee Min Wook, previously played by Yun Ji On, will be replaced. The casting process for the new actor is still ongoing.
While waiting for a replacement actor, the production team continues filming. They have chosen to record scenes that do not feature the character Lee Min Wook first. This strategy is taken to keep the production schedule on track.
POSITIVEY YOURS is adapted from a popular webtoon in the romantic comedy genre. This drama tells the unexpected consequences of a one-night relationship between a man and a woman who swear not to marry. Choi Jin Hyuk plays Kang Doo Joon, while Oh Yeon Seo portrays Jang Hee Won.
