Quoted from his interview with Ustaz Abdul Somad, Bang Tigor did indeed surprise the public because he was known to have converted religions.
Initially, he practiced Islam and then converted to Christianity. However, not long after, he returned to embrace Islam.
"I used to search for my true identity everywhere and it was difficult. There is a point in time when humans will stop. When I met her, I stopped and thankfully, the journey continues until now," said Bang Tigor.
Bang Tigor has a reason why he is determined to embrace Islam. This is inseparable from the role of his wife, Aisyah Sa'diah.
He said that his wife's intervention led him to the right path.
"I used to work at a club, yes, I changed religions. I hadn't found my true identity back then. I even apostatized but eventually returned. That's the reality of life. Finally, when I met her, I started walking on the right path," said Bang Tigor.
"She (his wife) managed to straighten out my life, honestly. I'm actually not a religious person like this, I can already wake up at 2 o'clock, I fast on Mondays and Thursdays. What else am I looking for? I think, what should I bring when I meet God," he concluded.
