The Story of Nabilah Ayu, Former JKT48, Firm in Wearing Hijab, Starting from the Death of a Family Member

"Alhamdulillah, I have been wearing hijab for a year, I'm still learning and still in the process. The first thing that made me want to wear hijab was the wisdom behind Covid. Because during Covid, there were also family members who passed away," said Nabilah Ayu in the BSC studio, East Cawang, Jakarta, on Thursday (15/9/2022).

"After that, I thought that no one knows our age, it could be that a few hours later Allah takes our lives. As long as Allah gives us a chance, we can still see the beauty of this world," added Nabilah.

It has been a year since Nabila wore a hijab. Not only her friends and fans, but also her extended family are delighted with Nabilah's appearance.

Her mother, Ratna K. Rita, admitted that she was extremely happy when Nabilah decided to wear a hijab. Ratna hopes that the 22-year-old woman will be steadfast in wearing the hijab.

"Of course, I'm happy, but I said 'of course, she hasn't worn a hijab yet'. Don't let her keep taking it off," said Nabilah's mother, Ratna K. Rita, on the same occasion.

"If you're sure, the most important thing is for Mama to be happy with herself. So, Alhamdulillah, I'm very happy, especially my husband (Nabilah's father) is very happy," Ratna added.

After wearing the hijab, of course Nabilah's style of dressing is different from before. Ratna said that her daughter looks more graceful.

"When Nabilah is shooting, she looks like a spoiled or graceful woman. Sometimes it's more towards her casual style. Shirts and others like that. The important thing is to dress appropriately for the occasion," Ratna concluded.
