The Story of Taqy Malik Helping a 60-Year-Old Grandfather to Get a Job Goes Viral and Touches Hearts

At that time, this 60-year-old man came in a state of hunger and ran out of money in Jakarta while in the process of looking for a job. Upon hearing the news, Taqy then tried to find the grandfather to help him.

Unexpectedly, Grandfather Santoso returned to Taqy's house. And without hesitation, Sherel Thalib's husband took him to the office and gave him a job.

"The reason I accepted Grandfather Santoso is because he is a father, a 60-year-old man who continues to struggle to find work in Jakarta. He has been wandering from Tegal to Jakarta for a month, looking for a job but no one wants to accept him," said Taqy when contacted by the media on Saturday (31/7).

After a month in the capital city, Santoso still hadn't found a job. He lived aimlessly in Jakarta, leaving his wife and three children in his hometown in order to make a living. Taqy's heart was touched by this story and he decided to help him.

Taqy gave Grandpa Santoso a job at one of his franchise businesses, Taqychan Saffron. Taqy did this because he felt compelled to be a good citizen and a good Muslim.

"If it is indeed his fortune that is in me, then maybe this is indeed the way of Allah SWT to bring him, who is impossible to happen by chance, surely Allah chose him to move his heart and hands to knock on my door looking for a job, yes, this is indeed the way of Allah," Taqy continued.

This touching story was shared by Taqy Malik on his TikTok social media and went viral. Netizens were deeply moved by the story of Grandpa Santoso and they were also grateful because Taqy was willing to extend help to him.

"Well, in essence, when Taqychan Saffron's office had thousands of people who wanted to register as employees, even some of them were willing to work without being paid because they just needed a job, no matter how much the salary was. But on the other hand, there is someone who may not be in his field, his experience is also not there, but because Allah has moved him, I finally accepted him to work at Taqychan Saffron," he concluded.
