The Vadel Badjideh Family Chooses Peace, Will Not Continue Legal Efforts Against Nikita Mirzani

Vadel Badjideh's brother, Bintang Badjideh, emphasized that his family will not take legal action regarding the case involving Vadel. Currently, Vadel is being detained on allegations of statutory rape and abortion reported by Nikita Mirzani.

Previously, Vadel, through his attorney, Razman Arif Nasution, had planned to report Laura Meizani alias Lolly, Nikita Mirzani's daughter. This was triggered by the family's disappointment over Lolly's statements that were considered to corner Vadel. However, now the family has chosen not to escalate the issue.

"The family has coordinated and will not pursue anything further. We have let it go, there will be no mutual reports, we want peace for everyone," said Bintang Badjideh at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday (18/3/2025).

Bintang emphasized that his family wants to focus on Vadel's condition and their own lives. "We want to focus back on Vadel, focus back on each family. So we won't prolong anything," he said.

According to Bintang, if both parties continue to report each other, this issue will never be resolved. Therefore, the Badjideh family decided to stop and calm down.

"If we keep reporting each other, it will never end. It won't ever end, no matter how long it takes. That's why, with a cool head, the Badjideh family will not continue anything," he explained.

Bintang also revealed that the family has coordinated to withdraw all existing reports. Their mother, Titin Badjideh, even advised all parties to let go and believe that there will be a better path in the future.

"Yes, we will coordinate later. We have already coordinated earlier, our process is to withdraw all reports. We will focus on Vadel again, focus on our respective families. Because mom told us, just let it go, there will be a way forward," he stated.

Meanwhile, Titin Badjideh added that her family prefers peace over prolonging the issue.

"We, as a family, actually want peace, yes. We don't want to prolong it, we don't want to take too long. If possible, we want it to be peaceful, finished," concluded Titin Badjideh.
