Just like Qory, Shah had previously failed to build a family. The man who now works for one of the Singaporean airlines even already has 4 children.

Qory himself turned out to be very close and familiar with his stepchildren. In fact, he and the eldest named Bianca are often referred to as siblings considering the age difference of only 7 years.

"Yes, let's just take the positive side. Being like siblings might be my way of approaching them to make it easier. Maybe we have the same hobbies, the same mindset. As for me, I am in a transition between millennials and the past era, for example, Bianca likes fashion and photography, and I have experience in that area so we can exchange ideas," said Qory when met at Trans TV, Monday (15/6/2020).

"Since the beginning of our acquaintance, we have considered each other as friends, maybe like older and younger siblings. I personally just maintain communication with their mother, that's an important point for me," added Bianca, who was also present at the same location.

Not only close to Bianca, Qory is also close to Shah's second child named Tegar, who is now 17 years old. As it turns out, Qory and Tegar have the same interest in the world of sports, making communication between them easier.

"If with Tegar, I also have experience in sports, although not in football, so we have a routine of exercising together, not only for fitness but also to support Tegar," added Qory.

"Personally, for me, I don't have the words 'stepchild', I consider this as my biological mother. That's it, there are no feelings or anything like that," added Tegar.

Furthermore, Qory added that the secret of his closeness to Shah's children is because of the principles they have developed together before getting married. Because for the 28-year-old woman, marriage is not only about her relationship with her future husband, but also with the whole family.

"Of course, Mas Rei and I have the principle that when we get married, we have to marry everything. So, everyone must have a sense of acceptance and, most importantly, a sense of love and care, just like siblings, mother, and child. Because what I marry is not only the children and the husband, but also the parents and the extended family. So, we have bonded before getting married," said Qory.

4. Already Married Before Getting Married

As a pilot, Shah definitely can't spend a lot of time at home and has to leave his children. That's when Qory comes in to be the mother figure who takes care of Shah's children.

"Even if I say, before getting married it's like being married, but in a different house. When the father is flying, the children are with me and when the father can't meet Tegar in Surabaya and Bianca in Bandung, I'm the one who goes there to take care of the children because the father is a single parent. That's the bonding," she said.

It's definitely not easy to marry a widower who already has 4 children. Moreover, Shah's age is known to be 19 years older. The PURPLE LOVE film actor feels very grateful because Shah's children are very welcoming of her presence.

"I'm happy that Bianca and Tegar can be open with me despite the age difference between me and their father. At first, I was also nervous about how the children would react. But the children are very welcoming. I can also explore my love as a mother to the children and it's a total joy, when I meet the children it feels so happy as if they were my own biological children. So we played together right from the first meeting, it's like that," Qory concluded.
