This Fan Favorite Character is Confirmed to be Absent in ONE PIECE Live-Action Season 2

Kapanlagi.com - The second season of the live-action ONE PIECE from Netflix is getting closer to airing and will continue the journey of the Straw Hat crew after the first season's huge success worldwide. This season will adapt the adventure to Alabasta, which is full of conflict and political intrigue. The initial trailer even shows Nico Robin, Nefertari Vivi, and Tony Tony Chopper, who have long been awaited by fans.

However, amidst the lineup of new characters, one popular name is confirmed to be absent: Portgas D. Ace. Season 2 will only adapt the story portion before the main conflict of Alabasta truly peaks, so the appearance of Monkey D. Luffy's brother is expected to be fully introduced in the next season. Although Ace was briefly associated with the journey in Drum Island in the manga and anime versions, his appearance was so brief that it may not be visually depicted.

Nevertheless, it is unlikely that a character as popular as Ace will be completely omitted from this series. His extraordinary popularity and important role in the main storyline make fans confident that he is only "delayed" for a bigger moment. While waiting for official confirmation, fans can hope for surprises in the next trailer or a dramatic introduction in Season 3 later.

Portgas D. Ace is known as Luffy's adoptive brother and the commander of the Second Division of the Whitebeard Pirates. He has the power of the Mera Mera no Mi devil fruit, which allows him to create, control, and become fire. His laid-back, charismatic, and loyal personality quickly makes him one of the most beloved characters among fans.

Ace sails to pursue his dream of becoming the Pirate King, but ultimately chooses to follow Edward Newgate, whom he considers a father and protector. In the Alabasta saga, he is hunting a dangerous enemy connected to his past. His reunion with Luffy is one of the most emotional moments remembered in the series.

Characters like Nico Robin bring a mysterious vibe and an adult aura, while Vivi presents strong emotional conflicts about responsibility and sacrifice. The presence of Chopper is also predicted to be a major attraction due to his adorable yet touching personality.

In addition to the main characters, various supporting characters and new enemies will significantly expand this live-action world. The new dynamics that emerge among these characters are expected to make the story feel more alive, complex, and emotional. With a strong foundation from the first season, Season 2 has the potential to deliver bigger, more intense, and heartfelt adventures for the audience.
