Shireen recounts their first meeting at an event 18 years ago, where Teuku Wisnu was the host and Shireen was the guest star.

Initially, their chemistry on screen was not as beautiful as in real life. Shireen, known for her cheerful and childish demeanor, often argued with the more reserved and stiff Teuku Wisnu.   "He was as stiff as a dry mop. I even once said, I hope I don't end up with a husband like you," wrote Shireen Sungkar in a post on her personal Instagram.

After the soap opera ended, their love story continued. Teuku Wisnu, who had thought about matchmaking Shireen with his cousin, realized his own feelings instead. He gathered the courage to express his love and proposed to Shireen.

The plot twist? Shireen rejected the proposal... twice! She felt she wasn't ready to get married. Teuku Wisnu's persistence deserves a thumbs up. He didn't give up easily.   "The third time went straight through my dad and I felt at that moment, he had already learned to change and bismillah could be an imam for bombing," she explained further.

Their love journey continued until they officially married in 2013. At that time, Shireen married Teuku Wisnu when she was 21 years old. Now, they have 3 children.
