The news of the divorce application filed by Desta to his wife, Natasha Rizky, certainly surprised many people.

But suddenly, Desta filed for divorce through the South Jakarta Religious Court.
Desta registered the lawsuit through the e-court system through his legal counsel on May 11, 2023.
The court has also set the first hearing with a mediation agenda on May 29, 2023.
Taslimah, the spokesperson for the South Jakarta Religious Court, said that in his lawsuit, Desta only wants to divorce.
The former Clubeighties drummer is ready to support his three children after the divorce is finalized.
"The applicant requests, first, that his lawsuit be granted, and permission to divorce his wife," said Taslimah when met at his office on Wednesday (17/2023).
Desta also did not file a lawsuit for property division and custody of their three children.
He only wants to end his marriage with his wife as soon as possible.
"All that will come from the divorce is negative consequences," said Taslimah.
Taslimah hopes that Desta and Chacha can attend the first hearing which will be held at the end of this month.
Of course, her hope is that their second marriage can be saved.
"Reconciliation, if both parties are present, will be mediated through the initial court process," she added.
