Kapanlagi.com - When performing on the top seven stage of Indonesian Idol some time ago, Tiara Anugrah sang a song by the late Glenn Fredly titled Sedih Tak Berujung (Endless Sadness). The song was chosen because it is Tiara and her father's favorite song.
"I knew Kak Glenn through my dad. I knew the song Sedih Tak Berujung from my dad. It's my dad's favorite song, which happens to be my favorite too," said Tiara when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (13/4/2020).
Because of the song 'Sedih Tak Berujung' performed and composed by Glenn Fredly, Tiara's performance received a standing ovation from all five judges and the audience in the studio. It is acknowledged that this has further propelled her towards the grand final.
"So I want to thank him even though I haven't had the chance to meet him (Glenn). I have discovered many of his works that are truly beautiful. One of his songs I have also performed on Indonesian Idol. And because of that song, Tiara is known by many people," said the 18-year-old girl.

Currently, Tiara is preparing for her new single which has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the future, if there is an opportunity, she wants to recycle the songs of the late Glenn Fredly.
"I want to recycle his songs because they are really good. Maybe I will cover them first, and then we'll see what happens in the future," said Tiara Anugrah Eka Setyo Andini.
