TikTok Launches #SerunyaBelajar Education Campaign, Cinta Laura: A Challenge for Young People to Learn with Different Methods

Kapanlagi.com - After previously succeeding with the #SamaSamaBelajar campaign, TikTok, the leading short video distribution platform, has launched a new education campaign titled #SerunyaBelajar Ada di TikTok. This campaign encourages the creation of fun and useful educational content. As one of the top five categories in Indonesia, educational content is rapidly growing on TikTok.

To foster the spirit of learning in a fun and entertaining way, this campaign appoints Cinta Laura Kiehl as the Campaign Ambassador or face of the #SerunyaBelajar campaign on TikTok.

“It's definitely exciting to hear that education is one of the highest categories on TikTok, if not in the top five. It shows that people's motivation to learn is actually very high,” said Cinta Laura when met at the KLY Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/6).

“Maybe the learning methods for young people nowadays are considered somewhat boring or maybe not interactive enough. With digital platforms like TikTok, people can really search for topics that interest them,” she continued.

1. Happy to Be a Part of This Campaign

Cinta Laura also expressed her happiness in being a part of the #SerunyaBelajar campaign on TikTok. She also wants to share her fun and entertaining learning experiences.

"For me, the learning process is a journey that will never end. That's why I'm so happy to be a part of the #SerunyaBelajar campaign on TikTok. I want to share my personal learning process and experiences in a fun and entertaining way with the TikTok community and wider society," said Cinta Laura.

2. Many Still Fixated on Grades

Cinta Laura also realizes that many young people are still fixated on academic grades in school or college.

"I realize that many young people are still fixated on the grades they see on a piece of paper. So, for example, if their performance in school or college is not above 90 or if their grades are not good, they feel incompetent. That's a mindset we need to change because not everyone may show their strengths in a standard school test," she explained.

3. Learning Challenges with Different Methods

Through TikTok and the #SerunyaBelajar campaign, Cinta Laura challenges young people to learn with different, more interactive methods that suit their preferences.

"Digital platforms like TikTok and #SerunyaBelajar are a challenge for young people out there to learn with different methods, to learn with methods that may be more suitable for them and to learn in a more interactive and easier way so that they can apply what they learn in real life," said Cinta Laura.

4. Various Exciting Activities

The entire #SerunyaBelajar campaign activities on TikTok will take place from June 27 to July 10, 2022. These activities include a hashtag challenge competition for all TikTok users above the age of 18, a TikTok LIVE series with the theme #SerunyaBelajar Bangun Masa Depan from June 29 to July 7, 2022, and activities at MBloc Space that feature a Creative Edu Exhibition and Networking Party. The event, taking place from July 4 to 10, 2022, is open to the public and follows applicable health protocols.
