Titi DJ Supports Childfree Choice of Stephanie Poetri and Asher Novkov, The Reason Is There Are Already Many Humans on Earth

After announcing her marriage to Asher Novkov, Stephanie Poetri is now in the spotlight because she has not shown any signs of wanting to have children. This decision has apparently been known and directly supported by her mother, Titi DJ.

According to Titi, her daughter and son-in-law have not yet discussed having children. She mentioned that this couple even tends to lean towards the decision to childfree.

"It seems like they haven't talked about that (children), maybe they are actually childfree, it seems. Yes, what matters is that they are happy," said Titi DJ when met at JCC, Central Jakarta, Saturday (21/6/2025).

The choice not to have children is called Titi, coming from the child's personal thoughts. She expressed that Stephanie has already conveyed her reasons directly and quite logically. "Her reason is that there are already too many people on this earth," said Titi. "So, yes, she doesn't want to have children," she revealed.

As a mother, Titi admitted that she does not want to interfere too deeply in her child's household matters. She respects Stephanie and Asher's decision as long as they are happy with their choice.

"If they don't want to have children, then it's their choice, I also can't force them, right?" Titi stated.

Titi also emphasized that the decision about having children is not something that can be forced. She does not want Stephanie and Asher to have children just because of pressure or obligation from outside parties.

"If they end up having a child out of necessity, that wouldn't be funny either," he added.

When asked if she wanted to hold her grandchild soon, Titi gave a relaxed answer. She implied that she wasn't too concerned about that. "I don't think so," said Titi.
